Every journey begins somewhere. Ours begins with a story.
To be Storybound is to set off in search of one. To follow curiosity wherever it leads, whether into an unfamiliar forest, through a peculiar door, or between the pages of a book.
And at the heart of Storybound lies The Keeping, a land built from imagination, where stories have places to live.
Here you'll find Castle Lindenwell, home to an Archive where the Mythkeepers tend the realm's tales and folklore. Beyond the castle lies The Wood, where not every path has been explored, and the town of Lindewick, where merchants welcome travelers into their shops.
You'll also find Storybound Press, where tales from The Keeping and other imagined worlds are written, gathered, and shared.
The Keeping is a world still growing, shaped by the imagination of its storyteller and the stories waiting to be told.
You're welcome to wander awhile. There's always something more to discover.
About The Press
Where stories find their way into the world.
Storybound Press is an independent creative press founded in 2024, devoted to folklore, fantasy, illustration, and original storytelling.
At The Press, you'll find The Midnight Missive, a letter from the storyteller; The Wandering Ink, a collection of stories, folklore, field notes, and illustrated curiosities; and a growing collection of original fantasy works making their way toward publication.
Some tales belong to The Keeping. Others come from worlds far beyond its borders.
All have a place here.
The Storyteller
I'm Lindsey Saoirse, the storyteller, illustrator, and maker behind Storybound.
I've always been drawn to folklore, mythology, and the peculiar places where the ordinary world meets the extraordinary. The stories that interest me most are often the ones that leave something unexplained, inviting us to wonder what might be waiting just beyond what we know.
My creative work moves between writing, illustration, and traditional handcrafts. Often, an idea begins as a character, a question, or a single image. From there, I follow wherever it leads, allowing each story to find the form that suits it best.
Sometimes that means ink on paper. Sometimes charcoal, digital illustration, or something made by hand. And sometimes, a small idea becomes an entire world.
Storybound and all the worlds within it are where I bring those things together, one story at a time.
